Walk the Walk for Education with UNCF in Your Home Town

UNCF is championing education by holding 5K walks in 11 major cities across the US. These celebrations of education will bring together between 300 and 1,500 community supporters in each city during the summer and fall to raise vital funds needed to help students get to and through college.

Whether you are an avid runner or prefer to walk, please join UNCF in a celebration of education!  The 2017 UNCF Walk for Education event series has been expanded to include 11 cities nationwide during the summer months and into the fall. UNCF and its supporters will walk and run to raise funds vital to the education needs of students throughout our country.

Each event offers exciting activities designed to ensure that all participants have a good time while doing good for students in their areas. Meet with corporate sponsors, have a picnic, be a volunteer, support a team, make a donation, or simply cheer on the walk participants.

See the list below to see when the walk closest to you is scheduled, start times, registration information, and volunteer and sponsor opportunities. With 11 cities participating this year, there are 11 opportunities to demonstrate your enthusiasm for education.
